August 4th

Every year on this anniversary of the crime, the Pear Essential Players perform a dramatization of what occured inside #92. The acting troupe is composed of employees of the Bed & Breakfast Museum as well as regulars who have been in their roles for many year. The script, written yearly by Shelley Dziedzic, now encompasses fourteen case personalities from neighbors, policemen and family friends to the entire Borden family including the Irish maid. It is always exciting when a new Lizzie makes her debut!

This is a popular event which sells out quickly. Advance tickets for the performances at 10:30, 11:00. 11:30 noon, 1:30, 2:30, 3:00, 3:30 go onsale the week before the event. There is a drawing for an overnight stay at the house at 4:15 under the tent.
Bookings for the house on August 3rd and 4th are extememly popular. Rooms are generally booked for these dates a year in advance, so call early if you wish to stay on these nights, or on Halloween night, another favorite date.
